Drum Corps International (DCI) seeks to bring the life-enriching benefits and enjoyment of marching music performing arts to more people worldwide. We do this by creating a stage for participating organizations to engage in education, competition, entertainment, and the promotion of individual growth. In support of this mission, DCI is committed to treating marching members, staff, volunteers and other members of the DCI community with dignity and respect, and fostering positive and safe learning, performing, and working environments.<\/p>

It is important for all members of our community to know how to address concerns, issues, and behaviors that may be contrary to this commitment. As a condition of continued membership, DCI sets compliance expectations for the conduct of members and their participants. These expectations include a process for the investigation of reports as well as for the implementation of guidelines on how to effectively address reports. Participants are encouraged to immediately bring complaints and concerns first to the leadership of their member organization, which have policies in place to address any issues promptly.<\/p>

Concerns regarding misconduct or noncompliance with DCI policy expectations can also be reported directly to DCI. Reports may include ethics concerns, but also alleged violations of DCI\u2019s values, code of conduct, and policies prohibiting discrimination, harassment, sexual misconduct, and retaliation. DCI is also available to provide each member with consultation about conflict resolution and help an individual connect with the right person at the appropriate member organization to consider and address the concern.<\/p>

DCI encourages anyone with a concern regarding potential misconduct of any kind to come forward immediately. DCI will strictly enforce policies protecting any reporting party from any form of retaliation and will protect the confidentiality of any reporter, witness or victim to the maximum extent possible.<\/p>

It is also important to follow the DCI Core Value of Mutual Care and Respect through the proper use of the reporting system for legitimate violations only. This is necessary to maintain the integrity of the process, uphold the effectiveness of the reporting system, and protect members of the DCI Community against false accusations.<\/p>

To report an allegation regarding an ethics or noncompliance issue, or to seek support from a DCI staff member in reporting such an issue, please fill out the online form below or email your concern to\u00a0ethics@dci.org<\/a><\/strong>. For issues containing the reporting party\u2019s contact information, DCI will respond within five business days to discuss the available options and possible additional resources.<\/p>

DCI encourages individuals to use the written submission form. Phone reporting is also available by calling\u00a01.833.556.0385<\/a>. Voice messages left with a callback number will be returned, also within five business days.<\/p>
